House 34: Fish

How are money and resources flowing?

The House of the Fish invites you to follow the money and resources coming in, going out or circulating.

Look at the card in position 34 and ask: “How are money and resources flowing?”

It may show the source of income, an expense, a business activity or what makes exchanges easier.

Start with the material subject of your spread. Then you can clarify whether it concerns a gain, a cost or room to manoeuvre.

Look at movement before the amount

A large flow may mean many sales and many expenses. It does not yet tell you what remains.

The card there helps you understand the movement. Real figures are still needed when making a financial decision.

The Mice: small outflows add up

The Mice speak of wear and of what gradually diminishes.

In the House of the Fish, they may show recurring fees, a shrinking margin or small losses that are hard to notice.

Position 34 locates the wear in your resources. Look for what goes out regularly before concluding that everything is lost.

The Ship: resources that pass through elsewhere

The Ship speaks of travel, distance and opening up to other horizons.

Here, money may flow through trade, transport or an activity abroad.

Distance alone does not tell you which way the flow goes. Look at whether resources come from elsewhere, are invested there or move away.

The Anchor: regular income or tied-up resources

The Anchor speaks of duration, stability and being fixed in place.

In this House, it may show an established income or an activity that provides regular resources.

It may also point to money that is tied up. Context helps distinguish lasting support from funds that are no longer available.

What if the Fish fall in their own House?

The Fish in the House of the Fish put money, resources and their circulation in the foreground. What matters is not only the amount available, but how resources enter, leave and keep moving.

Follow the current through the Grand Tableau. What feeds the resources? Where are they going? Nearby cards may point to self-employment, a chance of gain, an exchange or, on the contrary, a leakage to watch.

This self-placement draws attention to the flow. It guarantees neither abundance nor that resources will remain available.

Abundance needs to be checked

The Fish do not guarantee wealth. An exchange may be useful without producing a gain, and a high income may be absorbed by expenses.

The House shows you what to observe. To know what is actually available, follow the inflows through to the outflows.
